Adapter sleeves and withdrawal sleeves secure a tapered-bore bearing onto a plain cylindrical shaft, eliminating shaft shoulder machining and greatly simplifying mounting and dismounting. Adapter sleeves are driven in with a locknut and tab washer; withdrawal sleeves use a hydraulic nut and suit larger sizes. Always verify: taper (commonly 1:12 and 1:30), shaft diameter, the mating bearing model, and the locking parts (nut, washer, hydraulic coupling). Judge drive-up by the reduction in bearing radial clearance — never overtighten by feel alone.
AH3024 is supplied by RAYSDE through ISO 9001:2015 certified partner factories, with both stock and build-to-order options. Standard-part MOQ is tiered by bore: ≤50mm:500 pcs / 51–100mm:100 pcs / 101–300mm:20 pcs / >300mm:4 pcs; non-standard items are quoted per drawing. Send an inquiry for formal pricing and lead time.
Key parameters of the AH3024 Adapter Sleeve: bore d=120mm, outer D=115mm, width B=M130X2mm. For the full dimension table, load and speed data, and CAD drawings, please contact RAYSDE.
Used together with tapered-bore spherical roller and self-aligning ball bearings on plain cylindrical shafts, in textile machinery, mining and metallurgical equipment, paper machines, fans and conveyors, and anywhere bearing fitting and removal must be simplified.
As a supplier partnered with ISO 9001:2015 certified factories, RAYSDE offers AH3024 at competitive ex-works pricing with shorter lead times than comparable imported brands, plus non-standard customization and OEM support. Partner factories certified to ISO 9001:2015, with 3.1 material certificates available.
Yes—CAD/DXF/PDF high-precision drawings and 3.1 material certificates (GCr15 bearing steel) for AH3024 are available on request from RAYSDE.
An adapter sleeve (H series) is simple and low cost: it is driven into the bearing bore with a locknut and tab washer, and removed by releasing the nut and pulling with a puller or hydraulic method — suited to small and medium sizes and infrequent removal. A withdrawal sleeve (AH series) works with a hydraulic nut, making mounting and dismounting easier and positioning more accurate, suiting large bearings and equipment serviced frequently. Give us shaft diameter, bearing model and service frequency and we will advise.
As the sleeve drives the bearing up the taper, the inner ring expands and radial clearance decreases. For a spherical roller bearing with normal clearance, the reduction is typically held between 0.03 and 0.08 mm, varying with bore and series — larger bores allow a greater reduction. The correct method is to measure clearance with a feeler gauge or dial indicator during drive-up and stop at the target value. Driving too far eliminates clearance or creates negative clearance, causing rapid heat build-up and early failure.
